Cartoonist Notes
I don't want to be insensitive to obese people. I know it can be hard for some people given their genetics or the mental attachment they have to food. Some people live in environments that don't allow them healthy choices. I recently gained some pounds myself by sitting around too much and am currently working off that extra 15 I don't need.
There are all these fancy diets and programs but it really just comes down to two things. Do you remove as many calories as you put into your body and do you eat a balanced diet without an over consumption of bad fats and sugars. I cut out soda unless I go out to eat at a place like Chipoltle which sells sodas. Some times I just get water. I might average one soda every month and when I do have one, my body feels like I strapped on a 20 pound weight and I turned the lights out on my brain.
When I talk about exercise I am not saying you have to hit the gym and work out like a crazy person. I do a few push ups now and again and I go on walks. I recently got a little electronic pedometer that syncs with a online counter. I have pals who use their own pedometer and we can see each others weekly steps. It helps keep motivation. If you need motivation to exercise, find a person or other people who have the same goal. They will help you stay on track and you will help them.
I cant think of much that can improve your life more than having a better diet and doing some moderate exercise. I would encourage you to do so my dudes.
