Cartoonist Notes
Another combination of quill and pen. The use of plastic surgery is pervasive in California society if not elsewhere. I can see how it can be beneficial to people with disfiguring birth defects, etc. When I was young I had plastic surgery because I had a really droopy eyelid. Luckily my parent could afford the surgery.
I still feel people that use plastic surgery to try and look better when they already look Ok is not OK. It is really strange to think of. It is somewhat a mental problem of not having self worth or playing into others judgments of external beauty to uphold their mental sense of worth. The sad part is eventually, when people get older, it makes them look very strange. Then people look at them like they are odd and ugly which is what they were trying to prevent when they had the surgery in the first place.
I'm starting into the aging process myself which is easier for a man than a woman given how society values youth and "beauty" with women. Can you own who you are and accept that you get old? Is it worth having the bigger boobs or no wrinkles? Think it through carefully. If you need those things to meet or keep the right man, maybe he is not the right man.
My dudes, I believe you should honor who you are. The happiness you seek is inside you already. It has always been with you. You just need to change your life situation or your outlook on life to find it.
