Cartoonist Notes
I wanted to poke a little fun at the fact that people don't really pay attention while using their cell phones. This guy forgot to put on his pants because he was texting while dressing.
People still text while driving. I can understand why they do it. A little ping comes up and we are all very much in tune to immediately respond to our cell phones. It is hard not to. You simply can not do it though. Hopefully new technologies will be available to use text message through voice control in a car. Drunk people, people who do not get enough sleep and texting/cell phone users are killing people on the road.
The worst is when you see an accident where there are two or more people in the car. First off, the driver can simply ask the person in the passenger seat to answer for them or look at the message. Secondly the passenger never had the balls to speak up and tell the dumbass to put away the cell phone so as not to be maimed or killed.
Driving is already the most dangerous thing most people do. Hurtling forward at speeds with which the human body is not meant to go, relying on the fact that the drivers around you aren't texting, hopped up on alcohol, sleep deprivation, the billions of prescription drugs people use now days, or a combination of any and all of these factors. My dudes, we have choices in life, start making some sensible ones.
